Chris Meek has been gigging around the Bay Area for 18 years doing festivals, club dates, and recording sessions with such diverse acts as Powers That Be, Livewire, Shaka Ra, Myron Edwins, Sugar Boogie and Junior DeVille. Chris enjoys playing many styles, working regularly in the Blues, Rock and Funk genres. He has appeared on CD 6 times, producing 3. He currently plays with Trilogy (a Rush tribute) and Ascension (funk/soul/hip hop), and does sub work with top bay area cover bands including Livewire, the Groove Doctors and the Fundamentals. Chris has maintained a regular spot on the teaching staff at the Soundwall Music camp held at UC Santa Cruz each summer. This, combined with a full teaching schedule, keeps Chris very busy with his music.
